ActivMED2000 uses a menu driven, Windows compliant interface. ActivMED2000 accommodates multiple practices. Today, it is common place for practices to "associate" to share overhead and back each other up while on vacation for example. By the way, the "multiple practice" feature is "built-in" - no need to exit or change directories. Just pick another practice. Billing services find this feature especially useful. Responsible Parties are linked to a Practice. Patients are linked to a Responsible Party. Patients, in turn, bring Cases (illness, injury, etc.) to the Practice. Store a variety of "objects" such as images, sound, spreadsheets, drawings, etc. in the Audio/Visual (A/V) Catalog. Not all important data is in text form! The data objects are stored in the system tables where you place them. No need to maintain or reference an external imaging file system for example. |
